My favorite donut shop in the Boston area, full stop. Forget Union Square. No one should be doing that to donuts. This place has the classics done right. The stick donuts are my favorite. Actually crunchy on the outside but sweet and tender on this inside. It's an experience. Magnificent. Have also talked to the owner on a few occasions. Great guy. He once did a special order of jelly powdered donuts for a friend for Veterans D0ay.

I am not a morning person, and prior to like a month ago, I was very...attached to a bus / train schedule to get to work every day. So, making my way to Demet's was a bit of a struggle for me. I was on my way home from an appointment one weekday on my day off and made the spontaneous decision to go in. Like others have mentioned, there's only a few spots available. This place is super "retro" and makes me think it's the "original dunkin donuts". They're local, so the one woman I spoke to was super sweet and nice. I arrived at like 2PM~ so there weren't many donuts left. I got the chocolate (cake) donut and a coffee roll? donut (which was the size of my hand for my mom as a surprise). They were delicious and better than dunkin's if I had to compare. You can't compare this place to those "hipster" / "modern" donut places like Kane's, Blackbird, etc...because I'm pretty sure this place existed way before them. I really enjoyed these donuts and they're affordable and it's the kind of place I wouldn't mind spending some time in sitting there and enjoying a donut and hot cocoa (I don't drink coffee).

A local and family run business that does not disappoint.
The donuts and muffins are exquisite. The coffee, both hot and chilled with many flavors are tasteful and refreshing. If that is not enough, their breakfast sandwiches hit the spot. If in Medford area definitely worth a visit. Lastly, the staff are friendly and responsive to any need you require. -

Review for donuts only! Ordered a honey-dipped and Boston creme donut.
Honey-dipped: A regular sized donut. The dough was dry and a little crunchy. Overall didn't taste fresh. 4/10
Boston creme: Dry! Dry! Dry! It wasn't properly filled. The majority of the bottom half was just dry dough. It had a similar texture to stale bread than a donut. 4/10 -

Mediocre and that's me being nice. I didn't finish the donuts. they weren't fresh and defiantly not for me to say the least
